Year 6 had an exciting and inspiring day at the Centre for Life, where they took part in hands-on activities and workshops linked to their science learning. In the Light workshop, pupils explored how light travels, experimented with reflections and refractions and investigated how we see the world around us. The Dinosaurs session was equally captivating, giving the children the chance to examine real fossils, learn about prehistoric creatures and think like palaeontologists as they pieced together clues from the past. It was a brilliant day of discovery that sparked curiosity and plenty of enthusiastic discussion back at school.
There are lots of great images of the day on Year 6's Class Dojo page.
