Year 3 had a fantastic time during their recent visit to Hylton Castle, where history was brought vividly to life. The children explored the beautifully restored rooms, learned about the castle’s fascinating past, and discovered how people lived there centuries ago. They were especially captivated by the storytelling and hands-on activities, which helped them imagine the castle in its medieval heyday. It was a wonderful day of curiosity, learning and excitement and the pupils returned to school buzzing with new knowledge and enthusiasm.
