Year 6 took an unforgettable step back in time with an immersive educational trip to Eden Camp. Designed to bring the history of World War I and World War II to life, the visit gave students a vivid, multi-sensory look into what life was truly like during wartime Britain. Exploring authentic hut exhibits filled with historical artifacts, sounds and even smells, the children gained a deeper understanding of everything from the Home Front and rationing to the experiences of soldiers on the front lines. It was a fantastic day of active learning, empathy, and discovery that left our young historians with powerful insights and memories to share back in the classroom.
