Year 5 and Year 6 pupils can join Mr Shenton for story time every Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm. Each week we are sharing a new author. We hope that you find a love of reading and maybe a new favourite author too.

Our final story excerpt is one of my favourites. If you love stories packed with peril, muddled with mystery and dripping in double-crossing pirates: you’ll love Treasure Island.

When Jim Hawkins finds a map in Billy Bones’ sea chest, he sets sail with two friends and a strange crew in search of treasure. But are the crew all that they seem to be… ?

The joining details are available on Class Dojo. Hope to see lots of you online.
