Y5 Residential at Peat Rigg

12th April 2022T Shenton

Year 5 have had a fabulous time at Peat Rigg Residential in North Yorkshire! The children have been amazing throwing themselves into activities (so have the staff!) and taking on challenges. We are very proud of how they have behaved and their teamwork and cooperation has shone! There have been so many photos of the pupils on Dojo – we hope that you have enjoyed them. They will return this afternoon happy but very likely tired (again so will the staff!). Thank you to everyone for making this such an amazing trip that will live long in everyone’s memories.

For so many images of their visit please visit the Y5 Dojo Class Stories Page.

Bringing Science to Life

25th March 2022T Shenton

We celebrated British Science Week by bringing the school to life with animals! We have been watching chicks hatch, tadpoles and locusts (butterflies are winging their way to school after Easter). The school was also able to treat every pupil to a visit to Northumberland Zoo, where the children learned about habitats, animals and growth. We hope that the children learned plenty and had a great time!
